I first began training to become a healer at the age
of 17, learning the art of Shiatsu alongside my
mother, who is also a healer.  Later, I graduated
from Katharine Gibbs School with an Associate's
Degree in Computer Network Operations; a few
months before graduation I hurt my back and
could no longer work in that field, because of the
problems that came along with that injury.

I speak from my own experience, I was once overweight (240 pounds), unhealthy and out of shape. I
took the long, "trial and error" road to fitness, experimenting and learning what worked. Along the way, I
amassed an incredible amount of knowledge (and some great
resources), that I'm thrilled to share with
you.
My knowledge as a massage therapist and my passion for the human body and movement, eventually took me in the
direction of becoming a personal trainer.  Out of this I transformed my body and today, I have a body that I'm truly
proud of, and a fun lifestyle that supports it. Yes, I said fun! Being healthy and getting in shape doesn't have to be hard.
So often, I encounter that myth, but I guarantee my clients, when we work together you'll get a rockin' body AND have
a blast.  I'll help you get results that you can maintain and keep for a lifetime
Gyms not necessary; we can train at home, in a local park, or at your fitness club if you prefer. I'll work
with your schedule and location, customizing a plan that works with your lifestyle.
The following year, I went back to school, but this time for massage after much encouragement from my mother.  I
attended Florida College of Natural Health and enrolled in their massage therapy program.  During my time at FCNH, I
began to learn about injuries, what causes them, what's the best approach when it comes to relieving them, etc.  I even
found the answers to my low back problems and they were fixed there at school.  Growing up, healing and knowledge
about healing had always been a big part of my life, but this served to accelerate my education and my desire to learn
more.
